My Fellow Rotariana:

Rotary is a unique organization, with a unique mission and structure. Our long history gives us a strong tradition, while our system of annual leadership changes requires us to take active steps to maintain contiuity. With every Rotary year comes new opportunities and it is our responsibility to rise to meet them.

over the least 104 years, Rotary has grown from one club with four members to a worldwide organization of nearly 33,000 clubs. To maximize our effectiveness, strengthen our public image, and ensure a strong second century, it is essential that Rotary recognize and address its new and ongoing chalenges. This is why we have asked Rotarians for their input in three essential questions: Where are we now? Where are we going? And how do we get there?

As a result of this process, your Board of Directors, chosen by Rotarians around the world, has approved our strategic plan. The plan establishes our mission, Vision, Priorities, Goals, and identifies the five core vlues that represent our identify as an organization. It is a road map for our future and a tool that will hep us to achieve our long-term goals across many generations of Rotary leaders.

The RI Strategic Plan is based on the input and recommendations of Rotarians and the need and goals of more than 1.2 million members. I ask you, as Rotary leaders, to deucate the Rotarians in your clubs more effective. A complete copy of the RI Strategic Plan can be found at www.rotar.org.

With your help and the active involvement of all Rotarians, we will be able to maximize our effectieness in every one of our communities.

Dear President, Babu Kaji

It is my pleasure to congratulate you on our installation to the office of President of Rotary Club of Butwal, I take this opportunity to greet and felicitate all club members and wish you a successful and meaningful year ahead.

Paul Harris said "If Rotar ceases to be a responsibility and becomes a more relaxtion of pastime, its usefulness will case. Whatever Rotary may mean to us, to the world it will be known by the results it achievers."

RI President John Kenny has also reminded all of us Rotarians of our personal responsibility to Rotary and its ideals by giving a wonderful theme to work for the comming year: "The future of Rotary is in our hands."

Responsibility, what can we do as a Rotarians in building the future, is a big challenge for us but if we work hand in hand, we can makes difference in shaping the future.

Iam confident that under your leadership, Rotary Club of Butwal will promote the Rotary International Presidential theme of "The future of Rotary is in Your Hands" in the best possible way in the year to come, and make a meaningful contribution in the great movement of Rotary.

Rtn. Ajay Man Shrestha
President
Rotary Club of Butwal

Dear Rtn. Ajay

I am delighted to learn that your club is bringing out a Club Diary to commemorate your installation as Club President in July 2008.

Welcome to a brand new world of Rotary International District 3292 Nepal. The pride of having Nepal's own District has overwhelmed all Nepalese Rotarians to commit themselves to be more effective in their quest for community service.

Let us all stand together to strengthen our bond of fellowship and gain greater strength to serve the community of New Nepal in a true Rotary spirit. Rotary has always been very effective in helping those who need help, and the down trodden, the deprived and the less fortunate people of Nepal need our help now more than ever before. With combined effort, we can help "Make Dreams Real" for the children of our world. We can help reduce the very high infant mortality rate of Nepal by addressing malnutrition and lack of nursing, which are identified as the main killers of infant under 28 days. RI President D.K. Lee asks all of us to work together to reduce the rate of child mortality in the world through focusing on water, health and hunger, and literacy- the areas Rotary is very capable of doing.

I congratulate you for being the first President of your club in this new Rotary District 3292 and wish you and your team all success in achieving the goals and mission of Rotary applied in your territory of service.

Yours in Rotary Service

          Message from Club President
          RI District : 3292
          Rtn.
Babu Kaji Shakya

Dear Rotarians,

My Dear Fellows I think my self lucky enough to thank all of you for your confidence providing me the opportunity of the responsibility of president ship for the year 2009-2010 in Rotary Club of Butwal, Which is a international organization of business and professional leader to provide humanitarian service and support to build goodwill and peace voluntarily in humankind.

I Subsequently Rotary International has already set the roadmap as strategic plan: 2009-2010 with a slogan, "The Future of Rotary is in Yours Hands", by RI President John Kenny. The main emphasis of the Rotary in the area of service as well as health and hunger, literary and water has undeniable responsibility as committed selflessly to serve the needy people. He has asked all club presidents to put the plan into action by working together to achieve our goals. We have our own Rotary International district 3292 in our country. So we should meet dutifully in these areas to minimize the sufferings in our communities. Moreover there are many problems: homeless inhabitants, deforestation and natural calamities. So let us do something to be proud as a Rotarian.

"All of us are the reason for life to exit, not the other way around All of us are the goal of eternal mystery"

All of us are the sleeping life-force ready to awaken."

So let us utilizes our most important preset time, " Brings benefit both to oneself and another," as our DG Rtn. Ratna Man Shakya says. A positive mental attitude is the habit of acting with definiteness of purpose to achieve. Let us to say at the end of the year all Rotarians will be extremely surprised to find that "service above self" is a universal truth for all to reduce the human suffering, agonies, hunger, natural calamities and water deficiency and unnecessary loss rate.

Successful goals are worthwhile finally, because in the length of this year, we will realize these efforts together.

In this belief this year 2009-2010 will be highly successful with your compassionate co-operation.

                                                                                    With Best Regards
